Goat Cheese Greatness!
Goat cheese, with its uniquely tangy flavor, has become a popular addition to many recipes. I like to serve it as an appetizer with crispy crackers and the fruit of your choice. It was always easy to have the goat cheese by itself on the platter, but now it is spectacular with the goodies on the top of it. All of a sudden you have a gorgeous appetizer to WOW your family and friends with.

What The Heck Is A “Goody Topping?”
The goody topping is a beautiful melody of color and texture. It adds such a pretty presentation to the plain goat cheese log. The warm colors of the golden raisins, apricots, and craisins pop against the richness of the green herbs. The toasted pine nuts add a nutty crunch and flavor that keeps you eating one cracker after the next. The sweetness of the golden raisins and apricots mixed with the savory seasonings make this appetizer irresistible. The sweet and savory flavors combine perfectly with the smooth and creamy goat cheese. The olive oil makes the topping ingredients blend together just enough to drizzle perfectly over the goat cheese.
Gone Before You Know It!
This appetizer is another example of finger licking goodness. Every last treasure from the goody topping will be scooped on a cracker. The goody topping sticks to the goat cheese, making it easier to stay on your cracker. Even the die hard goat cheese opponents will fall in love with this one! This appetizer disappears very quickly, so it is a good idea to make 2-3 goat cheese logs for an appetizer tray. It is also fun to try different flavors of goat cheese to mix things up. I have had rave reviews using honey, sun dried tomato, and herb flavored goat cheese, so have some fun and mix it up on your next hors d’oeuvres platter. I promise that you will have many requests for this one!
